Logistics & Warehouse Specialist

The Logistics & Warehouse Specialist at Level plays a vital role on the supply chain team to ensure customer orders and warehouse operations are running efficiently. Harmonization of all fulfillment methods and practices are of utmostimportance. This position will require close communication with the Level’s business team. Reporting to Level’s Product Quality Manager, this position will work from Level’s warehouse in Lake Oswego, OR.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinate and dispatching of shipment tracking and all materials to ensure on-time delivery
  • Ensure outbound shipping compliance for major accounts
  • Set up all distribution routes/channels for all inbound and outbound freight
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments
  • Determine the most cost-effective shipping method(s) to meet customer needs
  • Evaluate shipping lanes (multiple shipping sites) and reduce shipping costs
  • Participate and contribute to projects that support the company’s overall initiatives
  • Build and foster direct relationships with freight carriers and brokers
  • Oversee operations of the warehouse and inventory
  • Report inventory reconciliation and cycle count processes to management
  • Update reports for future planning and sales forecasting
  • Arrange and organize warehouse to optimize processes
  • Support other logistics functions as assigned
  • Comfortable managing projects pertaining to material procurement and product improvement.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. (Studies in Freight Transportation, Logistics or Business is preferred)
  • 3-5 years experience in a transportation/logistics role
  • Experience in ERP and/or TMS system
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. (accuracy, timeliness, reliability, adaptability, and responsiveness).
  • Strong data and analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite programs
  • Passionate about health, wellness or fitness
  • Self-starter with integrity and confidence who strives to achieve even the most challenging objectives with limited supervision
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills that is comfortable leading in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment

  • Strong analytical, time management and writing skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position

  • Supervisory/ Management Experience Preferred
  • Food Industry Experience Preferred
